Moustafa Youssef, P.Eng., M.Sc., is the founder and Principal Engineer of Neighbour Power, based in New Westminster, BC. He specializes in the design and implementation of power conversion systems and distributed energy solutions, including solar, energy storage, and EV charging infrastructure.
At Neighbour Power, we partner with building managers, business owners, and farmers to deliver turnkey electrical solutions for residential, commercial, and agricultural facilities. Our services include electrical design, safety assessments, and project oversight to ensure upgrades are completed safely, efficiently, and to code. We also provide comprehensive project management, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and seamless execution tailored to your specific needs.
Neighbour’s portfolio includes many of the first systems in Western Canada, including the Golden View Solar Project, which was once Saskatchewan’s largest solar array and the first system in the province to utilize transformerless inverters.
The Golden View Solar Project was once the largest solar PV system to connect to SaskPower's grid and served as a template for many subsequent Small Power projects.
